Building the Iceberg

I co-wrote Jeff Marvin's last IMAX film, Lost Worlds: Life in the Balance. He's got a new one going which looks very cool.

Sugith Varughese: I'm a screenwriter, director and actor and I have also been a teacher of acting and screenwriting. This blog is called "building the iceberg" because that's how I approach the craft of storytelling. The final result is the tip of the iceberg, so the job is to build the iceberg. Because I work both in front of and behind the camera, I know that the job is the same--it's all storytelling. And no matter the job, understanding story is paramount.
