I did attend the Canon presentation of their new 2k and 4k cameras at the Tiff Bell Lightbox. They are financing some very impressive short films to showcase the cameras, including one starring Kevin Spacey. Performances, the look - actually astonishing as the clipping normally seen in HD is gone and you see a gradient between light and dark that totally equals film, and there's moving grain - were excellent - though I found the scripts a bit weak.
